CONTEXT

Our product team was tasked with delivering an AI-driven solution by year’s end.

DEFINING THE SOLUTION

  • Brainstormed solutions and collaborated with engineering to define scope based on time and resources.

  • Partnered with UX Research to identify seller needs and used the results to tailor the solution.

  • Defined the solution: Deliver AI-generated business insights to help sellers increase sales.

DESIGN

  • Collaborated with product design to create an MVP aligned with the “ideal” experience.

  • Ensured compliance with OpenAI’s data-sharing policies by working with legal.

PROMPT ENGINEERING

  • Engineered AI prompt to dictate the generated outputs. I applied a framework to ensure outputs were aligned with our user experience goals.

  • Partnered with engineering to balance prompt engineering with prompt configuration, ensuring coherent, relevant, and appropriate outputs.

  • Testing, testing, and more testing due to the unpredictable nature of AI.
